Assets can be anything that you want to track maintenance for. When you create an asset in Coast, you can attach files, manuals, videos, and more. Best of all, you can view all the work orders on the asset so you can a complete view of what's going on with each piece of asset.
Note: If you have your list of assets in a spreadsheet or document, our support team can upload it for you into your Coast account. Send us an email at support@coastapp.com or just tap on the Support button on your Coast app to send us a message to upload your asset.
Steps to create an asset:

- From the home screen, click into the Asset Management workspace.
- You can create an asset by clicking on the plus button on the bottom right corner.
- Give your asset a name and fill out the other information you need for your asset. Don't forget to take a picture.
- Once your information is entered, click Create on the top right corner.
- On the left hand side, click into the Asset Management workspace.
- You can create an asset by clicking on the New button on the top right corner.
- Give your asset a name and fill out the other information you need for your asset. Don't forget to take a picture.
