Want to create a filtered view for your team that shows cards that are due Today? (This means the view will update each day, only showing what is current). Or quickly see what work orders (or shifts, etc) have not been given a due date? (Making it easy to make sure all Work Orders or Shifts have deadlines and will appear on calendars). Use these specialized filter options inside any Date field (this includes the Due Date field).
Customization is only available in no-code workflows in the library labeled with “Custom” - and only in the Table View and the List View. If the workflow you are using does not have these features, you can ask our team about migrating over to one with these advanced features. These customization features right now are only available on Desktop: please log into your Coast account by visiting app.coastapp.com .
How to Create Date Filters:
- Click on the Filter button dropdown.
- Select a Date field like Due Date.
- Click on Contains to change the parameters of the filter.
- Select Is Between to show all the cards with a due date between two dates.
- Make the Start and End date selections inside the dropdown and click outside the filter to see updates to the view.
- If you're interested is seeing only cards due Today, click on Is Today (this will update the view every day, so that only current cards show).
- If you're interested in knowing which cards do not have a Due Date yet, change this selection to Is Empty to show all the card where the Due Date field has not been filled in.
- If you want to see a specific date (not a date range) click on Is Exactly and select one date (this date will never change).
- If you'd like to save this view as is, you can do so under the View Options dropdown.
