Looking for a way to group your Table View or List View by Status. Assignee, Parts, Location or something else? Our new grouping feature makes it easy to create these sections on the fly or save them so that every time you return to the view those sections remain.
Customization is only available in no-code workflows in the library labeled with “Custom” - and only in the Table View and the List View. If the workflow you are using does not have these features, you can ask our team about migrating over to one with these advanced features. These customization features right now are only available on Desktop: please log into your Coast account by visiting app.coastapp.com .
How to Create Grouped Sections:
Desktop
- Click on the Group button dropdown.
- Select the criteria you'd like to group your view by.
- Select each of the individual sections you'd like to create in the order you'd like them to be shown.
- If you're happy with the way it looks and you'd like to Save it for everyone, click on View Options and select Save for Everyone. Now this view will appear in these grouped sections every time any one in this workspace returns to this view.
