Set a Group Description

A group's description gives members information about a group's intended use. All members can edit these for groups.

Steps to set a description for a group:

Mobile
Desktop
  1. From the home screen, open the chat group that you want to rename.
  2. Tap the name of the chat group in the top middle.
  3. Click on the pencil icon edit_outline.png in the top right corner.
  4. Enter a new description where it says Add a description.
  5. Click Save in the top right corner.
  1. From the left hand side of the home screen, open the chat group that you want to rename.
  2. Click the name of the chat group in the top middle.

  3. Click on the pencil icon edit_outline.png in the top right corner of the card.
  4. Enter a new description where it says Add a description.
  5. Click Save in the top right corner of the card.
