If the operational status of an asset in a work order is updated to Partially Operational or Non Operational, the system will automatically generate a downtime tracking card that includes the associated asset and work order details. This new card will also automatically trigger a timer to start recording the duration of the asset's downtime. This ensures precise tracking of operational disruptions, providing valuable data for review in reports to aid in analysis, performance monitoring and identifying areas for improvement.
The downtime tracking card will capture key details such as:
- Asset Name
- Work Order Reference
- Date and Time the Downtime Began
When the operational status on the work order is updated back to Fully Operational, the downtime tracking card’s timer will automatically stop. The total recorded downtime will be logged on the card and reflected in the Asset report for review.
