Coast is a all-in-one workspace that brings team chat, tasks, and workflows together. With Coast, you'll be able to replace multiple apps and tools to keep everyone on the same page and get more work done.
Your Coast workspace
A Coast workspace is made up of groups, where team members can communicate and use workflows together. Keep reading to learning about the four key features of Coast.
π¬ Organized groups and workflows
In Coast, each group has two components to it, messaging and workflow. Team members can send messages, share files, be assigned tasks and shifts, and much more depending on the workflow groups you've chosen to add to your account. Visit the workflow library and create groups for scheduling, task management, announcements, maintenance, or anything else that's relevant to your business. If you need a group for just conversations, simply create a group without adding a workflow. Make sure you add your team to the right groups or else they won't be able to see those groups.
π Cards
Cards the the building blocks of each workflow. Let's take the Shift Scheduler workflow for example, each time you create a shift for a day, you are creating a card in Coast. A card captures all the information you need for each shift such as Name, Assignee, Start Date, End Date, Repeat, and Notes. For different workflows, the information a card capture will change.
π½οΈ Workflow views and filters
For each workflow, you'll have the ability to view in all kinds of ways that makes sense for you. Simply just tap the dropdown in each workflow to change the view from a list to a calendar to a board view. You'll also have the power to filter all your cards to only show the information that you need. Depending on the workflow, you can filter by Assignee, Status, Priority, and Due Date.
π Searchable history
When messages, files, and cards are created in groups, you'll be able to search your team's history to find relevant information quickly. If you need to find a task, shift, message, or file quickly, just type it in the search bar to find it.
