When managing a physical space or location, adding sub locations can be a way to organize and track different areas within that space. For example, a large warehouse may be divided into smaller sections, each with its own identifying label or name.
Steps to add a sub location:
Mobile
Desktop
- From the home screen, click into the Locations workspace.
- Create a sub location by clicking on the plus button on the bottom right corner.
- Give your sub location a name in the Title field.
- To link your sub location to a main location, select or create a new tag in the Location Area field with the same name as your main location.
- Click Create.
- On the left hand side, click into the Locations workspace.
- Create a sub location by clicking on the New button on the top right corner.
- Give your sub location a name in the Title field.
- To link your sub location to a main location, select or create a new tag in the Location Area field with the same name as your main location.
- Click Create.
