Add Sub Assets to an Asset

With Coast, you can break down a parent asset into smaller components or sub assets.

 

Steps to add a sub asset:

Mobile
Desktop
  1. From the home screen, click into the Asset Management workspace. 
  2. Create a sub asset by clicking on the plus button Mobile_Plus_Button_35x35.png on the bottom right corner.
  3. Give your sub asset a name in the Title field.
  4. To link your sub asset to a main/parent asset, select or create a new tag in the Machine Category field with the same name as your main asset.  
  5. Click Create.
  1. On the left hand side, click into the Asset Management workspace. 
  2. Create a sub asset by clicking on the New button New_Button_70x36.png on the top right corner.
  3. Give your sub asset a name in the Title field.
  4. To link your sub asset to a main/parent asset, select or create a new tag in the Machine Category field with the same name as your main asset.  
  5. Click Create.
